MilliporeSigma - GMP Oligo Manufacturing Lab

The Oligo Manufacturing Lab was designed to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality oligonucleotides for use in molecular biology and synthetic biology applications. The overall design incorporated a Synthesis Lab, ISO Class 8 Clean Room, Controlled Temperature Room, Equipment Room and Final Storage. The state of the art space was designed with the end user in mind to promote user safety, while maintaining a sterile environment for the product. Vision panels were designed into the space to allow for potential customer tours outside of the controlled areas. An exterior chemical storage facility was also added to ease delivery of sensitive materials and provide a fire seperation between storage and the existing building.
