St. Louis County Health Department

The new two-story, 93,000-square-foot structure located in Berkeley, Missouri provides the community with various healthcare services. Service lines include primary care, dental care, psychiatry, immunizations, behavioral health, social work, nutrition, WIC, radiology services, and more. Additionally, environmental laboratories for air pollution, industrial hygiene, radiation, and air quality monitoring were required in the layout. Achieving LEED Silver certification, the design includes high-efficiency mechanical and electrical systems; windows, wall systems, and roofing selection for optimal thermal performance and increased natural lighting; locally-sourced, reusable materials for construction; and debris was recycled to divert waste from landfills.
